Joseph Ralston came home from World War II and started Southern Plumbing out of his garage. Nearly eighty years later, his family is still answering the phone.
1947
Founded by Mr. Joseph Ralston in 1947, Southern Plumbing Inc. started as a small company run out of his garage after his return from World War II.
The build years
The company soon grew, and at one time employed over 100 people working on major construction projects all over the commonwealth.
1992
When Mr. Ralston passed in 1992, three of his sons, Michael, Matt and Robert, took over the business, carrying the same standard forward for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Today
Our technicians have been with us for 15 or more years, our friendly staff still picks up the phone, and a plumber is on call 24/7. Same family, same wrench, same promise.
